In May 2026, Rosenort Evangelical Church (REMC) was pleased to welcome Sam and Karenna Pauls of Blumenort to our church leadership team. Sam will be taking on the role of associate pastor of discipleship. We look forward to seeing how they enhance our church with their unique giftings.

On April 18, we hosted an outstanding event titled 7 Mile Story, with more than 200 people in attendance. Ross Breitkreutz captivated the audience as he led us on a powerful journey from creation to Christ’s imminent return. We highly recommend him to every EMC church.

Spring is a season of new beginnings, and many of our women had a great road trip on May 13 to Oakridge Greenhouse for some garden items, coffee, and dessert. Our monthly church potlucks continue to be well attended.

Shannon Friesen, a member of our church family, has recently dedicated a community house of prayer in the old Rosenort firehall to provide a space for groups and individuals to use. On May 5, a number of REMC members held a prayer walk that began there and branched out to most of the streets in Rosenort. It was meaningful to pray for fellow believers, churches, newcomers, businesses, schools, commuters, and individuals as they came to mind. It is our desire for the Holy Spirit to move mightily in our community and unify his people.
