EMC Board of Missions accepts two couples for service
The EMC Board of Missions is pleased to announce the acceptance of two couples for service in Spain. These couples will join a team led by Antonio and Esther Pitta.
Alberta Missions Fellowship hosted at PBMC
Picture Butte Mennonite Church (PBMC) graciously hosted an EMC Missions Fellowship. This newly revised gathering aims at building awareness and relationships with EMC churches. Around 100 people gathered from all over southern Alberta on May 31, 2026. After a brief introduction and history of EMC Missions, we heard a report from Nancy Friesen.
Working toward collaboration with other Anabaptist agencies
The Council of International Anabaptist Ministries (CIM) is a group of agencies from across North America that meets once a year for collaboration and discussion. Each agency takes a turn hosting. This year it was the privilege of EMC Missions to host the meeting.

Book review: ‘No Limitations’
The subtitle for Mary Brandt’s memoir No Limitations is “How God called me into the mission field knowing I would go blind.” This book clearly shows there is no limit to what God can do despite inadequacies and disabilities, and it leaves the reader in awe of Brandt’s courage and trust.

On June 6 and 7, the Board of Missions had the privilege of hearing Jayda Brandt, Jenny Klassen and Mark and Gillian Wiewel share about their calling into missions. All four were formally accepted as EMC associate missionaries.
